Playing Up
Some players may elect to play in an older age group because their skill level surpasses their peers. Here's what we consider when a parent requests this:
-
Is the player in the older half of the age group for which they're eligible?
-
Has the player already played at least one season in the age group for which they're eligible?
-
Does the player's coach from last season or their future coach agree they should play up?
These considerations are new for F25.

Players can play in an older age group but cannot play in a younger age group per Colorado Soccer Association's policies.
